Pick of the Month – March 2011 AAC Pick: EASE Sri Lanka From a Communication Mentor, about a foundation established by some dear friends: “For those of you who don't know them, Chammi and Anoja have been friends of Networks, as well as presenters and recipients of services for many years. Chammi uses Facilitated Communication to communicate and now types independently. Anoja, his mother, is his primary facilitator. They are both well known in the Autism / FC communities and have done many presentations relating to these topics. “Chammi and Anoja used to live in Maryland, where I initially met them. Years ago they moved back to Sri Lanka to help other people with disabilities find communication. They are doing amazing work back in Sri Lanka. They asked me to forward this to others in the hopes that they can get the word out. Check out their website (www.easesrilanka.org).... It is amazing to me how much they have done for their community in the few years that they have been back in Sri Lanka!”
